THE REGIONAL STAGE OF SELECTION OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE ALL-RUSSIAN COMPETITION OF THE BEST SOCIO-ECONOMIC INITIATIVES HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The regional Government held a meeting of the competition Commission for the regional stage of the all-Russian competition of best practices and initiatives of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation under the chairmanship of the first Deputy Chairman of the regional Government – Minister of Finance Vadim Oikin.

The organizer of the competition is ANO «Agency for strategic initiatives to promote new projects». The event is held for the fourth time and is aimed at identifying the best practices and initiatives of socio-economic development, which have confirmed their effectiveness in the subjects of the Russian Federation and municipalities. In turn, practices are focused on improving the business climate and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region. The competition helps to replicate the best regional and municipal initiatives in the Russian Federation.

A distinctive feature of the competition held this year was the updating of nominations taking into account the implementation of national projects in the country. Thus, the list of nominations includes the following categories:

construction and housing and communal services;

urban development and infrastructure;

ecology and Thrifty attitude to nature;

tourism and culture;

business support and export development;

social welfare;

science and education;

digital development.

Among them, the leader in the number of projects was the nomination «Social welfare» - 7 projects. A total of 21 applications were submitted to the contest this year through placement on the crowd platform. Petrovsky and Engels districts showed the greatest activity, having declared on three projects, and also municipal formation «Gorod Saratov» with four applications for participation in competition. Among the authors of the projects were heads of volunteer organizations, representatives of Executive authorities and local self-government, specialists of various institutions and organizations.

The winners of the Federal stage of the competition will be announced at the Russian investment forum in Sochi.
